I have been working for Cirque Du Soleil since February 1998. I have been head of automation on 5 different productions and 1 permanent show. I first started with Quidam, then work on the creation of Dralion in 1999 and tour until 2002, work on the creation of Varekai until 2005. After all those years on tour, in 2006, I wanted to get back to a more standard life. Cirque Du Soleil offer me a job as Show support advisor for all touring shows for mainly automation, but I did more, as for example to bring some Big Top shows in theater (Royal Albert hall in London or in the Fuji Dome in Japan). Cirque Du Soleil mandate me to build a new Téléphérique and Garage for the touring show Quidam; this have been a great challenge for me. I got the call to go back on tour... I join Corteo in 2007 for 2 years. In 2009, I had the opportunity to join the permanent show ZED in tokyo, Japan for 8 months. this have been a huge experience for me to work there and discover the culture. From April 2011 to April 2016, I have been touring with TOTEM as head of automation. I had the oportunity in 2016-17 to join the VOLTA creation team as assistant acrobatic & rigging designer. After VOLTA, I have the pleasure to work as Technical Director for ‘‘THE JUMP SHOW CASE’’. We created a show case for that show to sell it. Then, it was the return of Alegria, working as project manager Automation and some acrobatic task. Now we have started to work on the new show that will open in 2020 in a Big Top.
Before the journey with Cirque Du Soleil, I was a freelancer as lighting technician, I worked for the Festival d’été de Québec, the mega nightclub Le Palladium in Québec. I also worked in a small radio station in Wendake, from DJ to director of the programmation to president, it was a great experience.
